Meet Taylor.

Small business consumer turned culture protector;

Latina, mixed-race legal educator and thought leader;

Witty with words, an affinity for alliteration, and an overall language-lover.

FEATURED IN

Meet Taylor (she/her), an English Bull Terrier mom of two (and soon to be kiddo mama of one!) who loves Pilates, beach outings, a good Aperol spritz, and baseball (go Dodgers!). Taylor is a former D1 softball player, and her placements are Cancer sun / Leo moon / and Scorpio rising.

In the professional realm, Taylor is rarely seen wearing anything but athleisure wear, except when she's in court. Most days, she can be found drafting trademark applications, reviewing contracts, and assisting business owners in getting legally protected. Taylor firmly believes that legal matters shouldn't be intimidating, and she is living proof that your attorney can also be your friend.

Her legal journey began in consumer protection for mid-size law firms in Los Angeles. However, she discovered that by opening her own firm, she could better serve new, first-time, and small business owners independently. Drawing from her experiences litigating against large corporations, Taylor enjoys counseling and supporting BIPOC and femme-owned businesses. As a fellow Latina business owner, she finds joy in sharing her insights.

During her leisure time, Taylor indulges in long beach walks (seriously!), workouts (preferably not running), and exploring new food and drinks. She also enjoys writing for her blog, attorneyatleisure.com, where she shares a little more of her life behind the scenes.

    I attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, one of the most diverse law schools in the nation. As the first lawyer in my family, I sought out the supportive community of the Latino Law Students Association at Southwestern, where I eventually was named president after dedicating myself to LLSA’s mission to foster a welcoming environment for Latinx law students.
